Israel and Palestine Dream
August 16, 2003 @ 02:55 AM

When I was on my highschool and college days, I really pity and sympathize the Jews or Israelites, there land were stolen from them and they suffer so much salvery.

When I was young too, whenever I here the word "MUSLIM" it terrifies me and I often imagine a monster with beard and with an axe. But my muslim friends now are the opposite of my previous knowledge of them.

Now i often watch CNN and always see Israelis and Palestinians kill each other. But when I look closer to their faces they much look the same and looks like brothers and sisters.

I often see Muslims with caps in their heads, Jew also with caps in their heads and Catholics with caps on their heads (the bishops) and the Eastern Orthodox also with caps on their heads and the Hindus as well with a modified twirling caps on their heads. It seems that we all have the same lineage based on head covering WE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS
! (and of course not from the APES!!! Yack!!! they dont have caps anywhere)

I often ask God, why these things should happen to his sons and daughters but I realized that the problem is deep within our selves. We do not know how to leave and forgive our past but we allow our hatred, pride, and envy to overshadow the innate love, humility, and contentment in our hearts.

If we cannot accept our past, it will continue to haunt us and we are condemend to repeat it...and will form a viscious cylcle of violence that will be transferred to generations to generations.

I am happy to certain Israelis and Palestinians who are still friends and loves each other regardless of their religion. It makes me smile.

I pray for World Peace. Wish to see them hug

I am happy for you John, you overcome the obstacle, you start looking at people not like the media want us to see them, muslim, jews, catholics, hindus, etc..... we are all human. people who commit violent come from all walk of life, it happen that in our decade we have plenty of them who are muslim, or at least they are the one that the media have decided to let us know about their activities.
